Sailboat and beach bar for cool garden parties

Ahoi Olokians,

Calling all sailors, seafarers, and summer lovers! Like Bill Chill, do you dream of a day by the sea? Picture yourself sailing along with seagulls circling your sails, eventually pulling up to a Pacific-style summer bar. Then, you sink into a breezy beach chair and sip a delicious milkshake from Speedy… Ah, bliss! The best part is, it doesn’t have to remain just a dream! Take a look at the new seaside-style furniture for your home and garden:

Well, did I promise too much? Oh, I can practically smell the salty scent of the sea already. Wonderful!
But do you know what else is missing? Exactly! A fitting background for your player card!

So, the summer fun can move on to the next round! Plus, some other great furniture items have been added to the shop, and you can now even take a step back while crafting if you run out of the required items.

We’ll be in touch again on Monday, when you’ll find out which Olokian won the feeding contest and which group won the group competition.

Your Nico

Oloko is back!

Hello Olokians

It has now been two days since the Oloko open beta began. We’ve been so busy handing out a gift for you at Sunnyfarm that we haven't even had a chance to write to you yet—but see for yourselves:

The photo is from launch day. Within just one hour, over 80 Olokians were playing simultaneously! It was great to see so many of you and to share this amazing moment—and the fantastic launch party—with you.

I hate to interrupt, but the release party only runs until August 19th. So, if you want to get our gift, make sure to pick it up in time. It’s that non-tradable release party background:

It looks fantastic, doesn't it? So hurry over to Sunnyfarm and grab this background for your player card—it won't be available again.

Last but not least, we would like to explain the Groups & Oloko feeding contest to you.
Group contest:
-> From level 4, you can join one of three groups: Deika, Zurak, or Eka. Each group stands for something:
* The Deika believe in fate, spirit and magic and they love secrets.
* For Eka, it’s about genuine emotions, music, and a deep understanding of one another.
* The Zurak are sports enthusiasts and honest. They believe only what they can see.

-> Each group has a soup pot, and you must prepare a different item for each group: fruit juice for Eka, chili for Zurak, and herbs for Deika—things you learn to make while playing the jobs in Oloko. To keep the competition fair, the items are scored based on their value rather than the quantity tossed in, since the difficulty of producing them varies.
-> The winning group can use the group action for 7 days and receives a permanent trophy. The competition always runs until Sunday at 6 PM. You can view the current standings in the group room or on the Sunnyfarm.

Let us now take a look at the feeding competition:
->
Every week, Oloko wants to consume a product that you can produce within Oloko.

-> The player who feeds Oloko the most with this product wins a very special turtle costume for 7 days, as well as the permanent trophy.

-> The competition always ends on Sundays at 6 p.m. After that, Oloko wants to eat something else.
-> We announce the competition winner here on the Oloko blog every week. You can't see the current standings, so give it your all and feed Oloko as much as you can—with a bit of luck, you might win the challenge!

This week, Oloko would like to cool off and eat some snow. You can find him at Sugarpeak:

We hope you have a wonderful time on Oloko. Please don't forget, however, that Oloko is currently in open beta; not all features have returned yet, and there are still some bugs. You can report these to Oloko customer support at any time—or, of course, let us know about them on the Oloko Discord server.

By the way, you can also chat with other Olokians on Discord, make suggestions for improvement, or share your Oloko drawings. If you’d like to join, click here.

Of course, we’ll also keep you updated on news via the Oloko X (Twitter) Account
and the Oloko blog. So, be sure to check back regularly.

The countdown has started.

Hello Olokianer,

How are things going? You’ve probably seen it already: the countdown on the website is no longer showing days, but just hours until the Oloko Open Beta! The Open Beta is just around the corner! I’ve already been exploring Oloko with some members of the Oloko team and got a sneak peek at everything; I even took the opportunity to buy some new clothes so I’d look my best for the release—see for yourselves:

Oh, Marla... You’re already amazing just the way you are! A big hello from me, too. The closed beta recently wrapped up successfully. Now, the Oloko team is working flat out to get everything ready for the open beta—making sure nothing goes wrong on August 16th! The team has received quite a few questions across various platforms over the last few days, and Nico wants to answer them for you. Let’s get started!

So, feeling fresh? Then let's get started::
When exactly does the open beta start?

The open beta is scheduled for August 16 at 8 p.m. (20:00) German time.

Will all the quests, plants, and products from the original Oloko be available?
Yes, all quests and their plants & products will be available in the game in their original versions on the day of release.

Will there be new features?

The team is focused on using modern technology to restore Oloko to its former state, while also introducing numerous improvements to existing features. The Oloko Shop and the trading system, for example, got fresh designs and offer new features. Completely new features are also planned for the post-launch period—we look forward to sharing more details with you soon.

Will there be special events, or—like in the original Oloko—only the main quests?

There will be great events on Oloko where you can earn cool rewards. A major event is planned for shortly after the beta launch, so keep your eyes peeled! ;)

Are there any new rooms or characters?

A new room was completed a few months ago and is scheduled for release later this year. A brand-new character will arrive in Oloko shortly after the open beta launches. Keep your eyes peeled and follow our blog so you don't miss a thing.

Is the waiting time in Oloko still as long as in the original?

80% of the waiting times have been carried over from the original version, though some items now process faster. Also, keep in mind that you can trade items with other players at any time to progress more quickly.

Are there group competitions again, and who feeds Oloko the most?

Yes, of course! Starting on launch day, you can do your best to feed Oloko and win the week with your group. However, the group competition for the first week will be decided via a Discord vote, since you are all just getting started and cannot yet craft the necessary items.

What about memberships?
You can purchase a paid Oloko Patreon membership to buy exclusive clothing and furniture or to get a large garden where you can craft even more items. However, unlike the original version of Oloko, most things are free! Purchasing a membership supports the continued development of Oloko and helps cover its costs.

Alright, Nico, that’s enough answers for now—after all, everyone in Oloko should still get to experience a surprise or two for themselves. But if you definitely don’t want to miss a thing, be sure to check the Oloko blog regularly, that’s where we’ll let you know whenever something new happens in Oloko, who wins the group challenge, and, of course, who has fed Oloko the most.

However, if you’d like even more insights and want to become part of a great community, the team would certainly be happy if you joined the Oloko Discord server. Click here to join.

Hehe... A great snapshot just came in showing the team exploring Sunnyfarm:

Whoa! That’s enough for now—after all, the Olokians are already waiting to go exploring themselves. With that in mind, don’t forget to visit our Discord, as well as our Oloko X (Twitter) account and the blog, so you don’t miss a thing.
We'll see each other on August 16th at 8 p.m. German time.

The end of the closed beta

Hello Olokians

How are you today? I'm sure you'll be doing great by the next message! Nico, tell us about it.

Of course! The closed beta test version of the brand new, flash-free Oloko version is finally coming to an end!

The Oloko team has now confirmed to us that Oloko has a completeness of approximately 80-90%, and missing features are added daily.

Since our last post, for example, group competitions have been added, as well as over 100 new items.

Furthermore, there is now a closed beta test party at Sugarpeak!

All closed beta testers can collect 3 exclusive items there. These cannot be traded with other players, nor will they ever be available again.

So if you want to get some limited-edition items, I recommend you participate in the Closed Beta and help the Oloko team with testing.

But you don't have much time left! The beta is almost over! Bill will tell you more!

Hello! You heard right. The closed beta is almost over. To be precise, it will end 7 days before the open beta.
Now you're probably wondering when the open beta will finally begin, right?
Then I don't want to keep you waiting any longer, so I'll tell you the PLANNED release date of Oloko:

Great job, Bill! It's finally out! Soon you'll all be able to try out Oloko. Please note, however, that as Bill already mentioned, this is the planned release date and the Oloko open beta can be postponed at any time..
However, if you don't want to wait any longer, feel free to join the other Oloko testers and participate in the Closed Beta and receive exclusive tester rewards.

If you don't want to test, you can simply join our Discord server. Over 200 Oloko fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Oloko!

Exactly! Come and become part of a large community! If you want to join, click here.

However, if you would like to participate in the closed beta to play Oloko earlier and receive exclusive rewards, these are the current requirements:

-> Have an active Panfu.com account that has reached at least level 10.

-> Have an active Discord account linked to the Panfu.com Discord. (You also get the access data & rules via the Discord)
-> Own and link a Panfu Patreon membership level 2 (Panfu Explorer) or higher.

The closed beta ends approximately 7 days before the open beta begins. From the start of the open beta, playing Oloko will be free and without access restrictions. However, a selection of game features will require a paid Oloko Patreon membership. More details will be available later.

We've also set up a countdown for you on the homepage. So get ready for Oloko!

We look forward to seeing you and will of course keep everyone else up to date with important news on the X (Twitter) Account, in the Oloko blog and via the Discord server.

The new Oloko Website is here!

Hello Olokians

How are you all doing? We're doing great! Because we have some fantastic news for you! Oloko now has a new website! The design is similar but more modern! Bill, tell us what's new.

Hello from me too! The first thing you'll notice is that the homepage now offers the option to pre-register for the Oloko open beta. So, if you don't already have a Joubgames/Panfu.com account, you can create one now to be ready for the open beta!

That sounds fantastic! But that's not all. The new website is also mobile-friendly. It now adapts perfectly to your device. And there's more! There are also new features here on the blog: Nico, that's your specialty!

Yes Marla! I've already found out what's changed on our Oloko blog. Among other things:

-> You can now write comments. Simply click on the respective post and scroll down.
-> You can now browse back to older posts in the blog or use the archive on the right.
->
The calendar on the blog is now working. You can now see exactly how many days the current month has.
->
The VIP profile page has been completed. Learn everything about the Oloko residents there.

Exciting! Even more exciting, though, is that I can reveal to you: Development of the brand-new HTML Oloko version is progressing very well. The team still has some work to do, however, to add missing features and ensure a smooth transition to the public beta. The planned release date is practically set and will be announced very soon. So check the Oloko website regularly!

If you have any questions about Oloko, feel free to ask them in the comments or in our Discord. We'll try to answer them!

The release of Oloko is so exciting! To help pass the time, feel free to join the new Oloko Discord server. Over 130 players have already joined since our last post. Thanks to everyone! If you'd like to join, click here.

If you don't want to wait any longer for Oloko, we recommend participating in the closed beta test version, for which all testers will receive exclusive rewards. To participate, you currently need to meet the following requirements:
